Hard lump under skin after steroid injection

I have one on my lower eye lash line. It’s small and hard, not painful or itchy. It seems to have appeared overnight. It only others me because I know it’s there and I don’t want it so I try squeezing it to get the core out so it will go away. Because it’s in my lash line my eyelashes are now growing in different direction and that feels weird. It feels like after you have had a ponytail in for a long time and the hairs are in an angle not in the normal growing pattern. Ivery been thinking of going to ophthalmologist as I’m due for an eye exam as I my last one was shown to have a scratched cornea and the beginning stages of cataracts in my left eye which happens to be the same eye the small, hard, white bump is on. I think he should be qualified to look at the bump too?

Thanks for your reply. How long is normal to wait for a reply from the hospital for my first appointment as it will be 3 weeks on Monday?. I thought it might be about 2 weeks but I'm getting a bit worried now. The thing is I told the dentist I had no pain with it so maybe they have me down as low priority but I realise that I have been having some form of pain that could likely be related to it. I have been getting earache for some months now for no reason and it does seem to travel to the lump area. The lump has also got bigger in these last 3 weeks unless its my imagination because I'm worrying but I know last time I said it was the size of a raspberry but now I'd say its the size of a small brazil nut. It is causing me discomfort and pain enough to take tablets and feel odd and aches all the time but I do believe if I did have teeth I would be feeling more pain with the nerves. I don't want to go to the hospital but I know in this case I have to. When I do get the letter I will then have to wait for an available appointment so it could be some time before I get seen. Should I be so concerned?

There is no fixed tick bite healing time and while most people recover quickly, some might take longer. How long a tick bite lasts depends on your general health and immunity. People with weaker immune systems, elderly patients and geriatric dogs tend to suffer for years following a tick bite. If you do not seek immediate medical help, there is a greater chance that you might suffer from chronic Lyme disease symptoms such as fever, joint pains and so on. So if you have not seen the tick bite you but have been spending considerable time outdoors while having above symptoms, you must seek advice from your GP.

Hello,
Exactly a week ago I injured my leg just above my knee during a spin class. I got a cut and a scrape from it and huge amout of swelling. It started bruising within the hour and the swelling made it look like I had 2 knees on one leg. Walking was very difficult and slow. The swelling went down in day or so and the bruise got to be about this size of a large orange. It’s been a week since then and I’ve noticed a small lump under the bruise that won’t go away. Its tender to the touch and sometimes hurts. The bruise also spread around to areas on my leg that didn’t even get hit. From the info above I figured it was a hematoma, I just don’t want to misjudge it and it be more serious. I also read somewhere that a warm cloth helps break it up, should I do that or go to a doctor?
